- Select battery type: Choose the battery standard that matches the battery you are testing (e.g., STD, AGM, GEL, EFB).
- Perform tests: Follow the on-screen prompts to perform the different types of tests.
- Battery Test: Displays voltage, internal resistance, discharge current, and a lifespan analysis.
- Cranking Test: Checks the battery’s discharge performance when starting the vehicle.
- Load Test: Assesses the generator’s performance while the engine is running.
- Temperature Test: (ET2202 only) Requires connecting the included temperature probe.
- Interpret the results: The screen will display the test results, including an analog bar graph showing the battery’s overall lifespan.
- Disconnect: When testing is complete, remove the clamps from the battery terminals.
