How to use an ET50 digital caliper:

1. Calibration: Before taking a measurement, press the zero calibration button to set the caliper to zero. Then, ensure the jaws are fully closed to confirm the calibration.

   Turn On: The device may turn on automatically when you move the jaws apart. Additionally, check the display to verify that the caliper is ready for measurement.

2. Measurement:
   • Hold the object between the jaws to measure its external dimensions.
   • Use the “rabbit ears” (the smaller jaws on top) for internal measurements.
   • Extend the depth blade from the back of the caliper to measure depth.
3. Read the measurement: The reading will be displayed clearly on the LCD screen.
4. Hold reading: Some models allow you to clamp the movable jaw to hold a reading.
