This pre-owned battery protection board is designed for compatible lithium-ion battery packs using four cell groups connected in series. A standard 4S lithium-ion pack has a nominal voltage of 14.8V and reaches 16.8V when fully charged using 4.2V-per-cell charging.

The BMS is designed to help protect compatible battery packs against electrical conditions such as overcharging, excessive discharge, overcurrent and short circuits. Protection functions depend on the exact board version.

This used board is a practical option for battery repair, electronics experiments and compatible DIY battery projects where a pre-owned component is acceptable.

Installation & Safety

4. Use a compatible 16.8V CC/CV charger for standard 4.2V-per-cell lithium-ion batteries.

5. Verify the board's continuous current rating before connecting a load.

6. Use suitable wiring, insulation and battery enclosure protection.

7. Do not connect a 3S, 5S or LiFePO4 pack unless the exact board is specifically designed for it.

8. Do not intentionally short-circuit the battery or protection board.
